Shipped a new checkout flow. 12 bugs crushed. Live in production. The grind pays off.

Why ShipMate

01

Your Work as Input

Log what you built today, or let ShipMate pick it up from your commits. Real dev work in, authentic content out. No blank-page problem.

02

Your Voice, Not AI Slop

Train your writing style from samples you actually wrote. Every generated post sounds like you, not a marketing bot. Because nobody follows a template.

03

You Decide What Ships

Review every post before it goes anywhere. Approve, tweak, or reject. Human in the loop, always. Your reputation, your call.

The workflow

How it works

1

Sources

Connect your GitHub repos. ShipMate watches your commits so you never forget what you shipped.

2

Log

"Added OAuth with magic link fallback." That's it. 30 seconds. Or skip it and let GitHub fill it in.

3

Style

Paste 3-5 posts you actually wrote. ShipMate learns your tone, not a generic "professional" voice.

4

Review

Get posts for LinkedIn and X in your voice. Approve, edit inline, or reject with a reason to improve next time.

5

Publish

Copy to clipboard, or post directly to WordPress, Substack, and Mailchimp. Track what you posted and when.

Frequently asked questions

What does ShipMate actually do?+
You log what you worked on today. ShipMate turns that into ready-to-post content for LinkedIn, X, and other platforms, written in your voice. No ghostwriters, no generic AI slop.
How does it learn my writing style?+
You paste a few writing samples or import posts from your social accounts. ShipMate extracts your tone, vocabulary, sentence patterns, and quirks into a style profile that gets better over time as you approve and edit posts.
Will my posts sound like AI wrote them?+
That's the whole point of the style training. Posts are generated from your real work and written in your voice. You review every post before it goes anywhere. Most users say the posts sound like them on a good day.
Which platforms are supported?+
LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky, Threads, and generic (for blogs, newsletters, etc.). You can also publish directly to WordPress, Substack, and Mailchimp.
Does it auto-post without my approval?+
Never without your say-so. Every post goes through a review step where you approve, edit, or reject. If you want auto-publishing, you can schedule posts and enable it, but it's always opt-in.
Is there a free plan?+
Yes. The free plan lets you log work, generate posts, and review them. The Creator plan ($8/mo) unlocks direct publishing, analytics, scheduling, and more. 2-week free trial, no credit card required.
Can I use it with my existing workflow?+
ShipMate has a CLI that reads your git commits, a desktop menu bar app for quick logs, and a mobile app. Connect your GitHub repos and it can pick up activity automatically.
